Nicolas Spitz is a specialist on banking and financial regulatory matters. He has been involved in some of the most important transactional regulatory matters in France recently. He advises banks, insurance companies, investment firms and portfolio management companies in making highly technical and strategic decisions on their structure and regulatory environment, with a particular emphasis on the rules relating to licenses, change of control, resolution procedures and regulatory capital. He also represents banks and financial institutions in regulatory investigations and enforcement proceedings before the ECB/AMF/ACPR and before French courts.
